Therapy, for me, begins not with diagnosis or technique, but with relationship.

I work from a Person-Centred orientation grounded in psychological contact, emotional process, and the understanding that human experience is continually shaped through relationship, embodiment, history, meaning, and context.

Over time, both through clinical practice and sustained engagement with contemporary therapeutic discourse, I have found myself increasingly drawn toward understandings of therapy that move away from rigid models of correction, pathology, and intervention, and more toward relationship as a living, emergent process.

My practice is informed by contemporary relational, phenomenological, developmental, neurophysiological, and trauma-informed perspectives, though I do not experience these as separate models layered onto the work. Rather, they have gradually deepened and clarified my understanding of what therapeutic relationship already is: a process shaped through presence, rhythm, safety, contact, embodiment, mutuality, and the complexity of human experience.

At the centre of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself.

I understand therapy less as the application of solutions and more as a collaborative process of encounter; one in which experience may gradually become more speakable, more felt, more coherent, or more fully met within relationship.

This process is rarely linear. Sometimes contact deepens; sometimes it fragments, withdraws, pauses, or becomes difficult to language. At times therapy may feel reflective and clear; at others uncertain, slow, or quietly unfolding beneath immediate understanding. I do not see these movements as failures of the process, but often as part of its rhythm.

My role is not to impose direction onto another person’s experience, nor to position myself outside it as an expert observer. Rather, I aim to remain thoughtfully and relationally present to whatever may be emerging within the work, while helping to hold a space where complexity does not need to be prematurely reduced into simple explanations or fixed interpretations.

I welcome individuals, couples, and groups from all backgrounds and ways of experiencing the world. My practice remains grounded in curiosity, respect, relational depth, and the belief that human distress makes sense within the realities in which it has emerged.
